Hari Raya .....2009

Salam Syawal to all muslims...
Raya holidays was ok.. family gathering…hubby side @ Sg Serai house but we not overnight,. The best part, sis-inlaw help to cooked curry mee on Friday before raya and thanks to my love hubby for his hard work for helped to bought all the stuff. I can't imagine how busy m i if have to cook for Friday breakfast for more than 20 peoples (My family, Kak Rozie's family & Angah's family). Thanks, Kak Rozie, Frens @ Perkasa Indah were away and some had their own events.

We stayed at Sungai Serai house till 2nd day raya...than we started our journey about 8.30pm to my hometown. We reached mum house about 4.30am...sleeped till 10am..The best moment was we made ikan bakar with my family, sis, bros, niece & nephew...Everyone was enjoyed...

Evening, went to Wa Jam's house....Next day went to Lana Bulu...to kubur ayah, Pak Cik Azahari house & Mak jang Lijah's house.... On Wednesday, I had very bad period pain, even my cousin came, I can't entertain them...very sorry...
Next morning went to see bidan...90 yrs old but still healthy...she claimed that my vaginal/ uterus prolapsed and did a massage on tummy...dam painful.....repeated massage for next day..the pain stayed till yesterday...Now feel more easily...I pray that no more pain for next coming month.

Came back to HL on Friday evening...3.30pm. We stopped at Taiping and had kuy teow at Doli Res...too pack...waited about almost 45min to get our dinner...luckily it's a nice.....then 8.00pm we move to KL..headed HL 12.00am, Saturday.

KEK LAPIS KUKUS

Bahan-bahan
1 buku butter10 biji telur (asing putih dan telur)
2 1/2 cawan gula castor/halus
1 cawan susu pekat manis
3 1/2 cawan tepung biskut cream cracker [mesin halus]
1 sudu kecil esen vanila1 sudu kecil baking powderPewarna (merah/hijau/kuning)Asam / haw flakes

Cara Memasak
1. Pukul putih telur dan gula sampai kembang, ketepikan.
2. Pukul kuning telur dan butter. masukkan susu pekat, esen dan baking powder dan tepung biskut soda.
3. Masukkan adunan putih telur tadi ke dalam adunan yang kedua tadi, gaul hingga rata.
4. Bahagi kepada beberapa bahagian mengikut jumlah warna atau lapis yang dinginkan.
5. Kukus lapisan pertama, setelah masak kukus lapisan kedua dan susunkan asam manis/haw flakes di atasnya dan seterusnya hingga habis .

CREAM PUFF

KRIM PUFFBahan-bahannya:70 gm marjerin
140 gm tepung gandum
4 biji telur
200 ml air
1/4 sudu teh garam
1 sudu teh esen vanilla
Cara-caranya:
1. Masak air dengan garam. Bila mendidih, masukkan marjerin.2. Apabila marjerin cair, masukkan tepung gandum, kacau hingga sebati. Tutup api.3. Kacau lagi adunan tadi sehingga menjadi seketul doh. Sejukkan.4. Bila betul-betul sejuk, masukkan ke dalam mangkuk. Campurkan esen vanilla dan telur. Pukul menggunakan mixer sehingga kembang.5. Bila sudah kembang dan sebati, masukkan dalam piping beg dan paipkan atas dulang pembakar yang telah digris.6. Bakar dalam ketuhar yang telah dipanaskan terlebih dahulu pada suhu 180 darjah C selama 15~20 minit.7. Setelah sejuk, paipkan inti kastad melalui bahagian bawah ke dalam.8. Hiaskan dengan coklat strawbery.INTI KASTAD ORENBahan-bahannya:3 sudu besar jus oren sunquick150 ml fresh milk3 sudu besar gula1 sudu teh parutan kulit limau1 sudu besar marjerin2 sudu besar tepung kastadCara-caranya:-

1. Campurkan tepung kastad dengan susu sehingga sebati.
2.Masukkan jus oren, gula, parutan kulit limau dan mentega.
3. Masukkan campuran tadi atas api yang kecil. Masak hingga pekat. Alihkan dari api dan bolehlah dipaipkan ke dalam puff.

KUIH SIPUT

4 cawan tepung gandum
3 sudu penuh margerin
1/2 cawan udang kering
1 cawan santan (tak terlalu pekat)
5 biji bawang merah
1 sudu jintan manis
1 sudu jintan putihgaram

cara membuatnya:
gaul tepung gandum dgn margerin hingga rata.
Udang kering,bawang merah, jintan manis, jintan putih, garam di kisar bersama santan.....masukkan sedikit demi sedikit ke dalam tepung yg telah digaul dgn margerin tadi hingga membentuk doh lembut....tekan dgn acuan..pastu gorenglah...nak wangi goreng dgn daun kari
